The Wagoneer’s standard 420-horsepower Hurricane six out-powers the Tahoe’s base 355-horsepower V8, and the Wagoneer tows up to 10,000 pounds versus 8,400 for the Tahoe. The Tahoe offers an available 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 and a diesel.
The Tahoe offers an available front bench for up to nine seats and a wider engine menu, including a diesel for efficiency. The Wagoneer keeps a single strong Hurricane engine and seats up to eight.
The two start close, around $59,000 to $60,000. The Wagoneer includes its 420-horsepower engine at that price, while the Tahoe’s stronger engines cost extra.
Choose the Tahoe for a nine-seat option, a V8, or a diesel. Choose the Wagoneer for more standard power and more towing. At ALM CDJR Perry, a new Wagoneer can add ALM VIP Club benefits and our Included Lifetime Warranty on qualifying vehicles.
