The F-250 offers a wider engine menu, including the 7.3-liter gas V8 and a Power Stroke diesel with up to 1,200 lb-ft, and tows up to about 23,000 pounds. The Ram 2500 offers a standard HEMI V8 and the Cummins diesel and tows up to 20,000 pounds.
The Ram 2500 is the only one available as a factory Power Wagon, with a winch and locking differentials. The F-250 counters with a Tremor off-road package. The Ram is known for a more comfortable, upscale cabin.
The two start close, within about a thousand dollars. Engine choice, diesel versus gas, and trim move the price far more than the base sticker.
Choose the F-250 for maximum towing and the widest engine menu. Choose the Ram 2500 for the factory Power Wagon and a more comfortable cabin. At ALM CDJR Perry, our truck team can help you match the right Ram 2500 cab, bed, and powertrain to the job. Browse our inventory or contact our team.
